Join us at Senior Cinema Thursday at the Avalon Theater

Senior Cinema Thursday is back at the Avalon and Northwest Neighbors Village is delighted to join our colleagues at the DC Villages to support our beloved local theater. Beginning February 20th, several DC Villages will sponsor Senior Cinema Thursday. This special event takes place at 10:30 on the third Thursday of the month. The best part is, you don't have to be a Village member to enjoy a day at the movies. Anyone 60 years and older can join us for special discounted tickets - just $6! - and enjoy one of the Avalon's current films in the company of your neighbors and peers. The Avalon Theater is wheelchair accessible and provides assisted listening devices to guests with hearing and visual impairments. All films in this program will be shown with open captions.

Films will be announced the Monday before Senior Cinema Thursday, but we recommend that you mark your calendars now!
