Help Your Older Neighbors Stay Engaged and Connected Regardless of Their Ability to Pay

For the past three years, Northwest Neighbors Village has been waiving our membership fee for older neighbors with low income.  This has been critical to breaking down barriers to accessing the services and programs that enable our members to remain connected and engaged to our community.

Today over 50% of our full members now have their membership fees fully waived, and benefit from the social connections, practical help, and professional support of our Village. Over the course of the past three years, NNV has provided over $70,000 in member scholarships. This is all possible thanks to your generosity.

Next week, Northwest Neighbors Village will host our annual campaign to raise funds for our Membership Scholarship Fund. Over a three-day period, from July 23rd to July 25th, our Village seeks to raise $20,000 to support our members with low-income.  This ambitious goal is attainable with the help of generous donors like you!

Thanks to an anonymous donor, all gifts of up to $10,000 will be matched dollar for dollar during the campaign. Your gift will go twice as far in helping your older neighbors stay engaged and connected regardless of their ability to pay.

Please be on the lookout next week for information on how you can support your neighbors through this important campaign. If you have any questions or need assistance making your donation, please feel free to reach out to our office at info@nnvdc.org or call 202-935-6060.

Thank you in advance for your generous support!
