Come Celebrate 15 Years of Neighbor-to-Neighbor Connections

On December 3rd, we are celebrating Northwest Neighbors Village’s (NNV) 15th anniversary and we want you to be there! You won’t want to miss good company, live music, a delicious meal, and the announcement of NNV’s Volunteer of the Year. Please join us as we reflect on our past and look to the future.

We have good reason to celebrate! Since 2009, Northwest Neighbors Village has been building a generous and supportive community where all older adults can thrive. We have grown from a handful of committed neighbors to our current membership of nearly 300 individuals and 150 volunteers! Today, over 3,000 community members rely on NNV as a trusted resource. Over the past several years, NNV’s reach has moved beyond our local neighborhoods, as we share our expertise and time strengthening the Village movement through our citywide efforts with the DC Villages Collaborative.

We want to celebrate YOU! NNV members and volunteers are the heart of our Village. You influence and support the programs and services we offer. You build friendships and look out for one another. And, you remind us that kindness and genuine concern for your neighbors is still very much alive.

Please join us on Tuesday, December 3rd from 1-3. The event will take place at Ingleside at Rock Creek. Full Members are encouraged to request rides early. Valet parking is available. Please contact the office if you need a ride or valet at 202-935-6060 or info@nnvdc.org.

And don’t forget to submit your recommendation for Volunteer of the Year. We have so many exceptional volunteers. This is your chance to let them know how much you appreciate them. You can nominate as many volunteers as you’d like by contacting the office at 202-935-6060 or info@nnvdc.org.
