Donate Your Car and Help Your Older Neighbors Thrive

Do you own a vehicle you no longer drive? Are you burdened with the prospect of selling your car? Northwest Neighbors Village (NNV) has a way for you to turn your unwanted vehicle into opportunities for your older neighbors. We are delighted to share that NNV is now accepting car donations.

Your generous support makes a great difference in the lives of your neighbors. For 17 years, Northwest Neighbors Village has enriched our community with member-driven programming, volunteers services, and practical support.

Your gift makes our work possible! Village members find community and support through our network of caring volunteers who provide transportation, deliver groceries, change lightbulbs, provide computer and tech support, or just stop by for a visit. Village members rely on the guidance and support of our trusted staff who train and coordinate our volunteers and provide resources and service referrals for members when needed. Our popular programs include weekly yoga, neighborhood chats, Virtual Speaker Series, lunches at local restaurants, cultural excursions, book clubs, and so much more!

We invite you to take advantage of our car donation program. It’s a win-win! You rid yourself of a burden with a tax-deductible donation and your older neighbors can continue to rely on NNV’s vital programs and services. Kind Regards,

P.S. Last week, Iona Senior Services, along with partners: DC Villages, Vida Senior Centers, Seabury, and the DC Long Term Care Administration held the 2026 Mayoral Forum on Aging via Zoom. They also created a Non-Partisan Educational Mayoral Candidate Questionnaire. Both of these resources are now available to watch and read online. Click here to visit the website.
